EasyJet expects to beat analyst outlook as profits forecast to hit €295m
The budget airline has credited a surge in summer bookings with aiding its return to profitability
EasyJet’s profits are set to return to pre-Covid levels this year after the budget airline announced it expects to beat market expectation of profits of £260 million (€295 million) following a loss of £178 million (€202 million) last year.
Its package holiday department expects growth of 60 per cent this year, above the market expectation of 50 per cent.
