Drumm awaits sentencing after guilty verdicts

Former Anglo Irish Bank boss David Drumm has been convicted of taking part in a €7.2 billion fraud conspiracy and of false accounting.

The unanimous verdicts came on day 86 of the trial after 10 hours and 32 minutes of jury deliberations at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

After a long and complex trial, Drumm looked down and then stared ahead when the verdicts were read out by the court registrar just after 3pm.
