DPP moves to postpone Quinn family’s IBRC case

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is seeking to postpone the hearing of the Quinn family’s case against the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation over fears that it may affect a DPP case regarding former Anglo Irish Bank chief execu

Last Friday counsel for the DPP told Mr Justice Brian McGovern that there is concern that there may be “common issues” regarding the practice of Anglo in the cases.

According to the Courts Service, a hearing has been set for 11am in front of Judge McGovern for the DPP to put forward its application regarding the timing of the Quinn and IBRC civil case.
