Dee Forbes, RTÉ’s former director general, declined to take part in a review into how presenter Ryan Tubridy’s pay was under-declared by €120,000 between 2017 and 2019.

The long-awaited report by Grant Thornton was commissioned in June by the RTÉ Board after it was revealed that Tubridy was paid substantially more than was publicly declared, resulting in an ongoing crisis at the national broadcaster.

The final report was submitted to the board in recent days.
