The rules around the debt warehousing scheme are to be relaxed to help businesses struggling with Covid-19 era debt, the finance minister has announced.

Michael McGrath said he was “anxious to ensure” that “viable businesses are supported” as the May 1 deadline for repaying the tax approaches.
