“Debasing” conversion therapy is still taking place in Ireland, a new report has found, with many people subjected to the practice without consent.

A new study conducted by Trinity academics on behalf of the government has found that members of the LGBTI+ community are still having to participate in therapy based on “conversion ideology”, which has been shown to have significantly harmful consequences.
