Deadline looms for €100 water grant

There are just hours left to apply for the Irish Water €100 conservation grant before the deadline expires at midnight.

The grant application cut-off date was extended by a fortnight two weeks back because of the postal strike.

Around 66 per cent, or 857,769 households, invited to apply for the grant in June have done so.

The Department of Social Protection sent 1.3 million letters inviting applications.
