Flights into Dublin for major sporting events like the Six Nations could be under threat if the passenger cap is not raised, the Dublin Airport Authority has said.

DAA chief executive Kenny Jacobs told the Oireachtas Committee on Transport and Communications that the airport may have to turn away chartered flights if the limit on numbers is not raised from 32 million per year.
