Four senior executives at collapsed investment firm Custom House Capital have been sentenced to prison after they pleaded guilty to a conspiracy that defrauded thousands of investors of more than €60 million a decade ago.

Harry Cassidy, 67, the co-founder and former chief executive of Custom House Capital, was sentenced to six years and ten months in prison after pleading guilty to misappropriating €61 million of client funds between October 2008 and July 2011.
