Creche owner facing 38 suits for assault

Criminal charges were dropped against Deirdre Kelly last Friday, but the owner of the Links creche in Dublin is still facing 38 civil suits for alleged assault, battery and mistreatment of young children.

The multimillion-euro damages claims against the creche and its operators, Kelly and her husband Padraig, are due to be heard at the High Court this autumn.
