CIÉ pumps €37 million into Bus Éireann as firm goes through transformation under new chief

The state transport authority CIÉ has pumped €37 million into its embattled subsidiary Bus Éireann as part of a major re-capitalistion of the firm.

It comes as the company goes through a major transformation under its new chief executive Stephen Kent, who has said that the company faces “significant challenges”.
