The Central Bank has initiated High Court proceedings against the manager of a North County Dublin Credit Union which is under investigation over missing funds.

Anne Butterly is manager of Rush Credit Union which has been at the centre of fraud claims in recent months. She is on long term sick leave, according to staff at the branch.
