European Green Transition (EGT), the Cathal Friel led company focused on the exploration of rare metals needed for Europe’s green energy transition, has announced its intention to go public on the London Stock Exchange.

The firm - of which the Irish serial entrepreneur is the co-founder and non-executive director - on Monday shared plans to conduct a fundraise before listing its ordinary shares on AIM, the small cap market on the LSE.

London-based Panmure Gordon has been appointed as nominated adviser, sole bookrunner and broker to the company for the duration of the initial public offering (IPO). The Business Post understands that the firm intends to reach a valuation of just below €20 million in advance of listing in London.
