CapVest set to drop out of battle to buy Virtus Health

CapVest, the €5 billion private equity fund run by Cavan native Seamus Fitzpatrick, appears to have dropped out of the fight for the Australian company that owns Ireland’s biggest fertility services company.

The private equity fund, based in London, had been locked in a battle with BGH Capital, an Australian investment firm, to buy Virtus Health, which owns Sims IVF in Ireland.
