Cairn Homes reports strongest ever half-year profit of €36m

The Irish homebuilder said it has been able to maintain strong profit margins this year despite significant inflation in the cost of building materials and labour

Cairn Homes has reported an operating profit of €36 million for the first six months of this year, its strongest ever half-year performance.

The company reported revenues of €240.4 million, up 84 per cent year-on-year, according to its interim results published on Thursday.

During the six-month period to the end of June, Cairn said it closed the sale of 547 new homes.
