British Lottery owner reportedly bidding for Irish National Lotto

Allwyn, Europe’s biggest lottery group and the owner of Britain’s Camelot, is among the bidders for a majority stake in the National Lottery, according to a report in the Financial Times.

The sale process was started in February by Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, which has an 80 per cent stake in Premier Lotteries Ireland.
