Scaffolding tycoon Michael Breslin has failed to secure a last-ditch Supreme Court appeal in his long-running battle to ward off a £9 million Nama judgment.

The Co Meath businessman, who has lived in the United States since the 1980s, acted as guarantor on unpaid loans of £22 million to his brother Barry Breslin’s company Car Park Solutions (CPS) a decade ago.
