Millions in bonuses awarded to Bernard Looney, the Irish BP chief executive who resigned last week after misleading the board over personal relationships with staff, are likely to be clawed back by the oil giant.
A spokesman for BP said a decision was yet to be made on the remuneration payments to Looney, who was paid £13 million in bonuses and share awards since becoming chief executive in 2020.
