The owners of Dublin’s Temple Bar Inn have now lodged plans to build a 41-bedroom ‘boutique hotel’ on the corner of North Earl Street

A lavish new ‘boutique hotel’ is the latest in a string of plans to be floated by developers seeking to rejuvenate run-down parts of Dublin’s O’Connell Street.

Over the past year, a number of projects have been proposed for the capital’s main thoroughfare, which would involve wholesale changes to unused buildings.
