Dublin’s well-known Bewley’s Oriental Café on Grafton Street is set to reopen next month after a stunning refurbishment that cost north of €12 million.

The investment in the café is intended to position the venue as a landmark destination for tourists akin to the Guinness Storehouse.

Bewley’s originally cost £60,000 to build in 1927, which is roughly the same amount in today’s money that has been invested in restoring and revamping it.
