Lender has committed to raising available funds for social and affordable housing by more than two-fold

Bank of Ireland is to increase its available funding for social and affordable housing by more than two-fold, allocating €1 billion for the financing of such homes out to 2026.

The move forms part of the lender’s plans to increase its funding for housing developments more broadly from €1.75 billion to €2.5 billion across the next two years.
