Avolon profits jump ninefold to €69m in ‘excellent’ quarter for Irish aircraft lessor

Company has recently ordered 40 jets from Boeing and 20 from Airbus

Avolon, the Irish aircraft leasing company, posted a ninefold increase in profits in the three months up to June 30, reaching $76 million (€69 million) in what the firm described as an “excellent” quarter.
