Aer Lingus reports half year profit of €40 million
Its parent company reported a record first half operating profit of €1.26 billion
Aer Lingus has reported an operating profit of €40 million for the first six months of this year, a swing on the loss €83 million in the corresponding period last year, as the travel sector continues to recover from the pandemic.
Revenue for the period was just over €1 billion at Aer Lingus, mainly driven by passenger revenue of €976 million, according to half year results from its parent company IAG.
