Pilots at Emerald Airlines have agreed to suspend planned strike action for the upcoming bank holiday pending talks with the airline in an ongoing dispute over recognition, pay and conditions.

Members of the Irish Airline Pilots’ Association (IALPA), which is part of Fórsa, the trade union, had previously told Emerald, the Aer Lingus regional operator, that they would halt work for 24 hours starting on Friday morning.
