Accenture has been accused of “aggressively targeting” its Irish operation after it announced 890 job cuts here, and criticised for advertising new roles while it is imposing layoffs.

Two trade unions that represent workers at the company have raised concerns about its plans to impose nearly 900 layoffs, and called on management to put in place an appeals process for those whose roles are at risk.
