15 noise measuring systems now in place around Dublin Airport
DAA was instructed to install such systems in 23 community locations by August 2024
Fifteen permanent noise measuring systems in community locations around Dublin Airport are now operational following a direction by the Aircraft Noise Competent Authority (ANCA) to the DAA, the airport authority for Dublin Airport.
The ANCA, a separate and independent Directorate within Fingal County Council, issued a direction to the DAA in November last year to install and maintain permanent noise measuring systems in 23 community locations no later than August 24, 2024.
