Milis, a candle business in Co. Waterford, expects its revenues to grow to €100,000 this year as it expands its range of products.

The business, founded by Fiona Young in 2020, is based in Dunmore East. Milis has been bootstrapped from the start and Young started the company as a side project from her work as an oncology nurse.

“It’s primarily an ecommerce business but our products are also available in 25 shops across Ireland, including Finders Keepers in Waterford and Om Diva in Dublin,” Young told the Business Post.
