Despite its name, the Volkswagen ID.4 is only the second member of the new family of electric cars from the German company to arrive in Ireland.

It was preceded by the ID.3, a decent five-door hatchback which, because of its similarity in size to the Volkswagen Golf, was referred to by many as the second coming of the original “car for the people”, the VW Beetle.
