Your Last-Minute Tax Return
Using the Revenue’s online system is the quickest and easiest way to complete your tax return, writes Maura Conneely
The deadline for self-assessed taxpayers who both pay their 2015 liability and file their 2015 tax return through Revenue’s Online Service (ROS) is this Thursday, November 10.
Under the pay-and-file system, self-assessed taxpayers must now:
■ file a tax return (Form 11) for the 2015 tax year, including a self-assessment of tax due
■ pay the balance of any tax due for 2015
■ pay preliminary tax for the current 2016 tax year.
