Julie Jay is about to embark on a very big adventure. If that sounds like the start of a Hollywood-style comedy caper, well, that’s not a million miles from the truth. When we meet in a Dublin hotel, Jay is on the cusp of handing in her notice as a secondary school teacher in Lucan, and launching her career in comedy full time.
