Ingredients; makes one cake
250g butter
250g caster sugar
5 eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
225g plain flour
25g cocoa powder
150g chopped walnuts

6 egg whites
300g caster sugar
600g unsalted butter
One double espresso or 2 tbsp of good instant coffee dissolved in 50ml water, then chilled
