One of the very first cars I bought with my own money was a mk1 Honda CR-X registered in 1985, a nippy little two-door coupé based on the Civic of that time. I adored it, partly due to the coolness of the shape, but mostly because of how it drove.

Thanks to its low weight, the naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine felt more than enough to have fun with, in spite of a maximum power output...
