Large posters in the reception area of Facebook’s Dublin headquarters bear the kind of peppy corporate slogans one would expect from a Silicon Valley giant. “Proceed and be bold,” one tells me as I pass through a turnstile into the building. My destination is the so-called partner centre, a sprawling gadget wonderland where guests are introduced to the company’s family of apps and services.
