The singer-songwriter may have turned three quarters of a century this week, but with a new album out, gigs and an autobiography in the offing, he’s showing no signs of slowing down

Paul Brady is experiencing something of a purple patch creatively at the moment. Not only does he have a new album out, the enjoyably absorbing Maybe So, but he’s also, as he describes it, “in the death throes” of completing his autobiography, which is due out in September.
