Never mind the Bono thing, Inhaler’s second album is functional at best

The Elijah Hewson-led band are a decent enough rock/pop outfit, but there’s nothing on Cuts & Bruises that you haven’t heard before

Can we ever erase the fact that Inhaler’s lead singer Elijah Hewson is the son of U2’s Bono? Probably not, but that doesn’t give us the right to pass on the flaws or virtues of the father to the child, and so we approach Inhaler’s second album with perhaps a greater sense of fairness and a lower level of cynicism than we did their 2021 debut, It Won’t Always Be ...
