The Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike has entered its fifth month, and the prognosis for the film, TV and steaming industries in 2024 is grim. Just as well Americans can tune into the 2024 reality TV election, with its blockbuster criminal trials, cartoon villains and narcoleptic incumbent.
