Guggi’s latest exhibition, Them, running at the Kerlin Gallery, traces the visual artist’s complex relationship with his late parents

In the title picture of his new exhibition, Them, the artist Guggi has made two distinct lines on the far left-hand side of the canvas, elongated sticks that grow from the darkness of the background. The right-hand side of the painting is uneven, pale and bone coloured.
