Fashion: A new home, but the same focus on sustainability, for fashion’s Helen McAlinden

Helen McAlinden was an advocate for sustainable design long before it was fashionable. “I believe clothing should last for years, if not a lifetime,” says the Belfast-born designer, who has lived in Dublin since the 1980s.

“Fabric choice, classic cuts and methods of production are key to that, which we have been implementing from day dot, decades before it was trending.”
