Book review: Swinging couples serve up a fantastic page-turner that leaves you wanting more

Book reviews don’t usually give much time to book covers, but the one on Lauren Mackenzie’s debut novel The Couples deserves a few lines at least. A dinner table is shot at night in a darkened room. A candle has just been blown out and the party is over, its dinner portion anyway.
