British prime minister David Cameron has refused to budge over his election pledge to block a third runway at London's Heathrow Airport, saying there would be no U-turn on the government's stance.
Cameron's comments came after a group of MPs warned that restriction of capacity at the airport - which already handles up to 200,000 passengers a day - was harming Britain's potential for growth.
