Twitter backer Bill Tai and other high-calibre Silicon Valley investors will this week have a series of informal meetings with fast-growing Irish firms that want to crack the US market.

Companies singled out to connect with Tai include tanning product Cocoa Brown – favoured by stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon – which was chosen as official tan sponsor at this year’s Oscars.
