Tackling rules chaos is destroying Gaelic football

It's the same story every year, I'm afraid. I look forward to the GAA football championship and by the end of the season I have come to the same conclusion: that a potentially wonderful field game is still being ruined by its failure to agree proper contact rules.

Put simply, the tackle rules in Gaelic football are practically non-existent, and totally ineffective, resulting in a refereeing lottery.
