Secret ingredient' in sales of Raspberry Pi is Minecraft

The video game Minecraft is helping to increase the use of Raspberry Pi, a credit-card sized computer aimed at educating children.

Dr Eben Upton, the creator of the mini-computer, said the use of Minecraft by users of Raspberry Pi was a way of promoting computer programming in younger generations. Upton told The Sunday Business Post he had always believed the product should be fun first and foremost.
