Rumour of Hollywood glitz at Allsop auction

A Hollywood actor is understood to have bought a Cork office block at the Allsop Space auction last Wednesday for €1.4 million. He appears to have got good value as the property at 57, 58, and 59 South Mall in Cork city centre generates €151,700 a year in rental income, which throws off a relatively attractive gross yield of 10.8 per cent a year for the investor.
