Revenue to retain €20,000 cash seized at airport

Revenue officers have been told they can hold onto €20,000 in cash, which they seized at Dublin Airport on Monday.

The money was seized by customs from a foreign national who was boarding a flight to Bratislava in Slovakia. The cash was hidden in clothing in the man’s carry-on luggage.
