Patient association calls for further probe into man’s death

The Irish Patients Association has called for an independent investigation into the death almost 14 years ago of a man who died in a mental institution after being handcuffed by gardai. Stephen McMahon of the Irish Patients Association said he would seek a meeting with the Tanaiste and Minister for Health Mary Harney on the case.
