Limerick GAA arena gets gigs go-ahead

Limerick GAA's county board has been granted permission to hold concerts at the Gaelic Grounds, the proceeds of which will go towards alleviating its €755,000 in accumulated debt.

No acts have been lined up to play at the venue yet, county board treasurer Donal Morrissey told *The Sunday Business Post*. Morrissey confirmed the amount of the debt at a county board meeting last April, having just taken up the position.
