It is a credit to Bewley’s Cafe Theatre that it can accommodate a varied and diverse range of work.

From light lunchtime dramas to serious operettas, the small, flexible platform-style stage has managed to create illusions as uncanny as live ghosts and effects as crazy as a rotund actor disappearing up a chimney with a cow.
