Improve your pension plan

I am a tradesperson and I earn €65,000 salary a year, along with an additional €5,000 via extra jobs on my own (with my employer's consent and which I declare for income tax purposes). Dilemma:

I currently pay €466 a month in total to my company retirement plan, but because I only started saving for pension in my early thirties, I feel I am behind on contributions.
