Gender balance good for business

Ireland needs more female leaders in technology to encourage more women into the sector, according to Gina O'Reilly, chief operating officer at document software firm Nitro.

The business, which has 450,000 customers worldwide including the European Parliament and tyre giant Continental, is looking to double its Irish workforce by the end of next year. Last autumn the business created 50 jobs in Ireland when it opened its EMEA headquarters in Dublin.
